ShleeePolish Super Blue Blood Moon 1.0

Hello guys! I'm excited to share a new indie polish maker on the blog today! Well, she's not new in the indie world but she is new to me. She is a smaller brand with once a week smaller restocks. Her colors are amazing though. I am especially in love with her shimmers and this is one of the best! This color was so popular that she had revived it five times before putting an end to it. I nabbed a second bottle at the last iteration because it is just fantastic.

I will show it to you here with the disclaimer that I should have probably applied three coats instead of the two you see here. The opacity is the best at three coats. The slight sheerness of the polish does lend itself beautifully to showing off all that amazing shimmer.

Polished For Days Glacier

Hi guys!!
I don't know how many of you are aware of a box called For The Love Of Polish but I have been getting it for a few months now and it is awesome!! There are two regular makers and the third is always a guest. Polished for Days has been a regular maker for a while and the other one used to be Illyrian Polish but she just handed over the reins to Pahlish. I have always been seriously impressed with the polishes and I am super excited every month to see what they come up with.

The polish I am going to show you today is by Polished For Days called Glacier and it's from the FTLOP box from January 2018.

I've realized I'm not a huge fan of pale holographic polishes as previously seen in this post. I was apprehensive getting this polish in the box but I ended up loving it!

Glacier is described as an icy blue linear holographic polish with micro holographic flakes and copper to red to green shifting shimmer. Perhaps it's the blue base color or perhaps it's the shifting shimmer but I thought this really worked for me. I loved wearing this in all lights but especially in sunlight.

I could post so many more pictures of this but I'm going to stop here. That's it for now! Check out For the Love of Polish on Facebook. They sell the beginning of each month and it's a preorder for a few days. I have many more beautiful polishes coming up in the future so thanks for looking and see you again, I hope!

Polished by KPT Ophelia’s Love

Hello all! Today I have another Polished by KPT polish again for you. The last one was a while ago here. It was the sister polish to the one I am showing you today, Ophelia's Love.

This is also a deep purple based thermal that in the warm state is very pale. The shimmers in here are of a much larger size and pink in color. They have a slight shift to green at an angle that is hard to capture on the photos. The first three are in the cold state and I will show the transition down at the bottom.

Here is the warmest I could get it with some transitions below. I'm surprised it still flips! It is a few years old.

Emily de Molly External Links

Hello everybody!

Although the polish I am going to show you was from a while ago, let me tell you about the weekend I just had. I went to visit my brother in New Mexico for a couple of days and oh my goodness, that part of the country is gorgeous! The mesas, the canyons, the views! We went on a couple of hikes and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I will have a post later with the pictures I took because, of course, I have some nail pics from my hikes as well! The polish I wore that day was perfect.

Okay! Today's polish is quite a beauty too! This is Emily de Molly External Links. This is a bright bright blue jelly with iridescent glitters of different sizes. This was one of those polishes that was really hard to photograph well and show the uniqueness of it. A.k.a., pictures don't do this justice. You certainly can see how bright the blue is though. What you can't really see is the myriad colors coming from the glitters.

Down below I have indoor pictures, up above are outdoor pictures from a cloudy day. You can see the jelly base in the last picture. It is more sheer in pictures than in real life. I think I stopped at two coats but I could have worn a third. Unfortunately, as with many jelly polishes for me, it did chip in 3 or 4 days. It was close enough to when I would change polish anyway that it didn't matter much but I do remember thinking I wish it lasted just a day or two longer.

That's it for today! See you guys next time.
