Twinkling Night with Diamond tips

I showed you guys my franken polish Twinkling Night in my last post. In today's post I'm going to show you the shimmer/glitter tips I added to this mani. I felt like it needed a little more bling. The "just plain black" look was just begging for some work on it.

Since I can't leave a mani alone until it's time to take off or it's just too thick, I added these large glitters to the base of each nail. The first time I saw them being used this way is by Nailasaurus. I think she got hers from the Born Pretty store but I got mine at a local dollar store.

For this look, I added Sally Hansen Diamonds to the tips with a sponge and then, since that wasn't enough, I added Sally Hansen Disco Ball with a sponge to the tips as well. That's what gives it the multicolor sparkle. I had no idea that it was so cool!! I'm going to have to feature that baby on its own sometime, give it the spotlight!

I went a little nutty taking a lot of pictures of it so it was hard work picking out the select few to show you guys.

The next day, I had a chance to take some pictures outside. It was cloudy but that seemed to be the best way to show the effect of Disco Ball. I hadn't put a whole lot on so the effect was subtle.

Finally, the day after that, I added some of these large glitters individually at the base of each nail.

I hope that wasn't too many pictures for you! I just loved the way it looked at the end! If you are actually reading this, thank you for sticking it to the end of this long post! See you next time!
