This manicure may be seasonally out of place but this has to be my favorite gradient yet. This was done with Sinful Colors Olympia and Sinful Colors Exotic Green.
I used the makeup sponge technique made famous by The Nailasaurus. It makes gradients look sooo amazing. I also realized that if the darker color is slightly more jelly-ish than the lighter color, it looks even smoother.
After about a day of this, I wanted something more. So I added a layer of Forever 21 Love and Beauty "Green", haha.
I love those large hex glitters! What do you think? Maybe I should re-create this for St. Patrick's Day!

That's okay it's a pretty spring/fall mani. Love the way you did the gradient and the glitter is oh so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love that glitter too! Thank you :-)
DeleteGorgeous! Love the large hex glitters too <3
ReplyDeleteYeah, I have to find other glitters like this in other colors
DeleteThis is beautiful! The gradient is so subtle and pretty. And I love that Love & Beauty glitter! Is it a recent polish?
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm not sure about how recent it is. I got it online at Forever 21 actually over the summer. I think NYX Enchanted Forest might be a dupe but there might be a couple of versions of it.
Deleteo wow ! the shade is so good :D wish this brand was available in india !

Hi! Thank you! If you like this brand, I think cherryculture.com will ship to India.
DeleteThis is such a pretty manicure. Since you work in the med field, isn't it tough for you to carry off such manicures at work? Curious.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Actually, on days when I have only clinic, which is most days, nobody cares what my nails look like. I always make sure I keep them neat and short but no one cares about the color or art on them. In fact, I keep getting asked what's on my nails this time by the office staff :)
DeletePlus, I do have weekends to try the really fun stuff :)
DeleteOhmygoodness, you made it even better. The gradient is amazing!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteThe gradient turned out sooo pretty for you! AMAZING.
ReplyDeleteAnd glitter makes everything better ;)
Thank you! I have a very picky relationship with glitter. I love it as a gradient or a full nail coat but rarely as a top coat to another color. I'm learning slowly which I like in which way :-)
DeleteThis is such a lovely gradient, I love the final result! Oh, and by the way, i'm a new follower! kissez
ReplyDeleteThank you, Josephine. This is one of my favorite gradients that I've done! I went to your blog and I love it too!
