Springtime Gradient...Oh, wait, it's fall??

This manicure may be seasonally out of place but this has to be my favorite gradient yet. This was done with Sinful Colors Olympia and Sinful Colors Exotic Green.

I used the makeup sponge technique made famous by The Nailasaurus. It makes gradients look sooo amazing. I also realized that if the darker color is slightly more jelly-ish than the lighter color, it looks even smoother.

After about a day of this, I wanted something more. So I added a layer of Forever 21 Love and Beauty "Green", haha.

I love those large hex glitters! What do you think? Maybe I should re-create this for St. Patrick's Day!

    1. Thank you! I'm not sure about how recent it is. I got it online at Forever 21 actually over the summer. I think NYX Enchanted Forest might be a dupe but there might be a couple of versions of it.

  5. This is such a pretty manicure. Since you work in the med field, isn't it tough for you to carry off such manicures at work? Curious.

    1. Thank you! Actually, on days when I have only clinic, which is most days, nobody cares what my nails look like. I always make sure I keep them neat and short but no one cares about the color or art on them. In fact, I keep getting asked what's on my nails this time by the office staff :)

    1. Thank you! I have a very picky relationship with glitter. I love it as a gradient or a full nail coat but rarely as a top coat to another color. I'm learning slowly which I like in which way :-)
